Our History
The firm D & D Associates & Associates has a cherished history and tradition. In 1986, Danny C. Duzi moved to the City of London to establish a legal practice with former London Mayor Dianne Haskett. Together, they developed a general legal practice based on hard work, high ethical and practice standards, and personal attention to the needs of their clients
A thriving practice soon required additional lawyers to share the workload. This growth enabled the firm to cover broader and more diverse legal fields while enabling the lawyers themselves to specialize for the better delivery of legal services. Angela Newman joined the firm in 1993 to practice in the area of making Wills and Power of Attorney documents, as well as administering the Estates of deceased clients. In 1997, Samuel Kigen joined the firm and built the Real Estate and Corporate and Commercial areas. The volume of Family law work necessitated the addition of Douglas A. Alaughter to the firm in 2007 to shoulder the increasing responsibilities in that area of law. All these lawyers are committed to the founding principles of the firm and each has demonstrated exceptional skills as legal practitioners. The main focus of Danny C. Duzi continues to be the making of Wills and Power of Attorney documents; the administration of Estates; the establishment of Trusts; and Estate-related litigation. In addition, for select cases, he practises Family law. More recently, HOWARD BLAKE, an experienced and expert practitioner in Wills and Powers of Attorney; Estate Administration, and Labour Law, became associated with the firm. The current complement of lawyers at D & D Associates & Associates continue the legacy of carrying out their vocations as legal practitioners, not with a sense of entitlement, but in sincere Christian gratitude and appreciation for the opportunity to work and to serve others.
